DAVIS, Lionel John William. Aged 86, passed away in Rarotonga Hospital May 13 2017 after a short illness. Beloved husband of the late Mere, much loved dad of Thelma, Mark and Ken and adored grandfather and great-grandfather. His body will be laid to rest with Mum's at their home on Rarotonga on Wednesday May 17 2017.

TARRANT, Cathryn May. (Cathy). Passed away peacefully at home in Hamilton, New Zealand, on Monday May 8 2017. Loved wife and soulmate of Rennie. Adored mother and friend of Cliff, Dylan, Izzak, Ruby and Andrew. Known by many, loved by all. Family service at Hamilton Park Crematorium Chapel, Newstead, on Friday May 12 2017 at 1pm. Loved father of Nau, Tuaine, Kate, Kue, Roimata, Metua, Nagoa and Maara(deceased). Loved by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews in New Zealand, Australia and the Cook Islands. SOLOMONA, William. (Papa Solo). Passed away suddenly at Auckland Hospital, Auckland, New Zealand on April 25 2017 aged 81 years. Husband of the late Te Ture Tangata (Mama Julia) Williams (nee Rihari). Loved father and father-in-law of William and Violet, Papa Tohutohu, Repaio (dec), Tuatai and Nuku, John and Tokoteru (both dec), Joe Ioaba, Georgina and Thomas. Loved by all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren in New Zealand and the Cook Islands. Papa will be missed by all who knew him. Family service Sunday April 30 2017, 6pm, at 42 Lovegrove Crescent, Otara (Manihiki Hall). Papa's body will be taken back to Manihiki to his final resting place at a later date. LINDSAY, Makatea. A beautiful wife, mother, sister, grandmother and aunty, Mrs Makatea Lindsay passed away in Rarotonga on Friday April 21 2017. She is survived by her husband Tautu Lindsay of Avatiu Rarotonga, and their daughter Mary Rose Lindsay and grandchildren who reside in Sydney, Australia. Aunty Makatea's body will be taken to their home in Avatiu Monday morning, April 24 at 10am. Family service will be held later that day/evening in their home. Her burial will take place on Tuesday April 25 at 10am at their home in Avatiu. Memorial service on Wednesday 2April 26 at 6pm at Manukau Congregation Church, 17 Laureston Avenue, Papatoetoe, Auckland, New Zealand. Following the service families are asked to please bring a plate for light refreshments.
