MANARANGI, Peter Tautu Okotai. It is with great sadness that the Manarangi family inform of the passing of their son and brother after a short illness at Auckland Hospital, Auckland, New Zealand, on Saturday May 21 2016, aged 63. Much loved fifth eldest child of Teariki Akamoeau Nooroa (Nono) and Kathleen Patricia Prendergast Manarangi, is survived by his mother. Dearly loved brother of Anau, Margy, John, Teresa, Maria, Tony, Arthur, Adrian and our late brother Frank and his children and all other nephews and nieces. Funeral mass will in the St Peter Chanel Catholic Church, 42 Boundary Rd, Clover Park, Otara, Auckland, Monday May 23 2016, at 3pm, followed by a private cremation. Beloved wife of the late Marcel Kato treasured mother of Yoko Mysturu Kenji Ishido and Meiko cherished grandmother of A'ara Nicolas, Temuri,Keiko, Jin and Ohiva. A proud advocate for Rimatara island. JESSIE, Kataraina. Passed away in Aitutaki Hospital on May 5 2016. Mother of the late William, Tereapii, Kathy and the late Mii. TARIA, Ani. It is with great sadness that our grandmother/mother/aunty/sister, Ani Taria has passed away in the early hours of April 26 2016. She will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her specially her family in New Zealand, Australia and the Cook Islands. Family service was held at the Church of The Nazarene in Mangere on Thursday April 28. Her body will be flown back to Aitutaki Friday April 29 to its final resting place.
