TARU, John Teavae. Passed away peacefully at home in Wellington, New Zealand, surrounded by family members. Much loved husband of Tekau Ariki, father and father-in-law of John and Mimi, Martha and Glen, Arasena and Nick, Jane and Billy, and grandfather of Ariki and Iulai, Moera and Wilson, Casey, Penny and Hollie. Great-grandfather of Cyan, Astyn and Nixon. John's body will be at PIPC Church, Nokise Hall from Sunday April 21 5.30pm. Family service on Monday 22 April, PIPC Church, cnr of Constable and Daniell Street, Newtown, at 6.00pm followed by the funeral service on Tuesday April 23 at the same venue at 10.00am.

RIDDELL, Ian. Beloved husband of Georgina (Ina) Samuel, Ian James Riddell, passed away in Tauranga Hospital, Tauranga New Zealand on April 7 2019 aged 70. Much loved brother of Joyanne, Bryan and Allan. Cherished father of James and Samuel. Stepfather to Vilma, Alan, Celina, Madeleine and Kay. Beloved Pops of all his grand great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A service will be held Thursday April 11 2019 at 1pm at Pyes Pa Memorial Chapel, 403 Pyes Pa Road, Pyes Pa, Tauranga.

TUNUPOPO, Tae. The Tunupopo and Kamire families announce the passing of our son, brother, cousin, grandson and nephew Tae Zepharn Tunupopo in Middlemore Hospyal, Auckland, New Zealand at 11.35pm on March 23 2019 surrounded by his families. Sunrise August 21 2002, sunset March 23 2019. He was the beloved son of Kamuta Junior Tunupopo and Waiari Hill. Beloved brother of Tremaine (M), Talia ( F), Sancia ( F), Cherish ( F), Neveah ( F), Tianau (F), Kingston ( M), Karma ( F), Ramen ( M), Mary-Grace ( F), and Kamuta Junior (M). Beloved partner of Kiana Poa. Beloved Father of Kingston. Beloved Grandson of Kamuta and Ngatokorua Tunupopo (née Kamire). His body is lying at 16 Tua Place, Mangere. Family service Friday March 29 at 6pm at 16 Tua Place, Mangere, Funeral Saturday March 30 at Mangere Lawn Cemetery followed by refreshments by the families at 16 Tua Place, Mangere.

SHEARMAN, Eteta. The Tetera and Shearman family announce the passing of Eteta Shearman (née Tetera) of Palmerston North, New Zealand. Born December 7 1940 in Reureu, Aitutaki, she passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones, at Palmerston North hospital, on Satrurday, March 23 2019, aged 78. Loved daughter of the late Tama and Tapeka Tetera. Dearly loved wife of John Wayne Shearman. Loved sister, aunty, grandma and great-grandma, and sister-in-law of the Tetera, and the Shearman families. Both services for Eteta will be held at Emmanuel Congregational Church on the corner of Victoria Ave and Broadway Ave, Palmerston North. Family service on Tuesday March 26 at 6pm and funeral service on Wednesday March 27 at 11am, followed by interment at Kelvin Grove Cemetery. Further details contact Tangi Tetera 02102308232.

ROTA, Nooapii. Mother/sister/grandmother Nooapii Rota also known as Ambu passed away in Auckland, New Zealand, on March 22 2019 at 8.05pm. Beloved wife of William Rota and the daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Makea Joseph. Funeral service: March 28 2019 at 6pm at Cook Islands SDA Church (Kuki), 15 Birmingham Rd, East Tamaki, Auckland. Burial service March 29 2019 at 11am, Cook Islands SDA church (Kuki),15 Birmingham Rd, East Tamaki, Auckland followed by burial at the Manukau Memorial Gardens. TAIREA, Aukino. Dearly loved son of the late Vaine Terepai (Papa Va'i - aka Moumou Tane ) and Mama Tere Tairea, loving husband to Mathilda Miria-Tairea, father to Charles, uncle, cousin and caring brother to his siblings. Born May 25 1952, died peacefully on March 18 2019 surrounded by his family. Prayer service at the family home, 3 Halswell Street, Mangere East, Auckland, New Zealand on Wednesday March 20 at 7pm followed by refreshments. Please feel free to bring a plate and share a warm cuppa in his memory. On Friday March 22 the family will depart for Rarotonga where a service is being planned for Thursday evening). On Friday morning his body will return to his birthplace Akatokamanava. TEAU, Tangituaine. Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunty and friend Tangituaine Teau-Vaimotu Mataiiapo Tutara known to many as Aunty Tangi passed on March 17 2019 at Rarotonga Hospital. Her funeral arrangements are Wednesday March 20 2019 at 10am her body will be brought back to her home at Blackrock, Arorangi. At 6pm her family service will be held at home followed by refreshments. Thursday March 21 2019 at 3pm her body will be taken to the Arorangi Cook Islands Christian Church and from there to Vaimotu burial grounds in Blackrock with refreshments to follow at home. SADARAKA, Lois. Mother, grandmother and Grangranz Lois Raywin Sadaraka (née Dunnett) passed away after a long and courageous battle with cancer on March 18 2019 aged 83. Auckland service on Thursday March 21 11am at Tipene Funerals, 24 Hill Street, Onehunga. Rarotonga service on Saturday March 23 10am at Sunset Quay, Arorangi, next door to Arorangi SDA Church.
