November 10
MAKIITI, Makiakama. Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother Makiakama Makiiti passed away on November 8 2019, in Auckland, New Zealand. Family service Tuesday, November 12 2019 6pm, at St John's Presbyterian Church, 120 Great South Road, Papatoetoe. Funeral service Wednesday November 13 2019, at the above church 11am. From there her body will be taken to the Manukau Memorial Gardens, 361 Puhinui Road Papatoetoe, where she will be laid to rest. From there the family has requested to gather back to the church of St John's to celebrate her life. Please contact 09 217 9465 for further information.

KATU, Ngateinare Kimiia Mataira. Known as Inaina or Ina passed away at the weekend. Family service will be held Tuesday November 5 at 5pm at the home at his parents Willie and Tai Wichman, Betela, Arorangi. His body will be returned to Aitutaki on November 6 at 6pm on Air Rarotonga and will be resting at Noo & Taiono Mataiti's home in Amuri for the night. HOSKING, Douglas. November 21 1940 - October 22 2019. 21/11/40 - 22/10/19. Wellington, New Zealand. His body will be lying at 37 Fantome Street, Cannons Creek, Porirua. Those wishing to visit can phone 0210726123 or 0226310122 for appropriate times. Family service Tuesday October 29 6Ppm at PIC, Cannons Creek. He will be taken home to Rarotonga after the service.

DEAN, Te Tupuakiau. Mother, grandmother, great-grandmother Te Tupuakiau Andrew Dean (Née Mataroa) or known as Mama Nono, has now reunited to dance with her darling husband the late Tangata Tapuni O Pareanga Andrew. Sunrise January 9 1936 sunset October 12 2019 surrounded by her loving family at 83 years of age in Auckland, New Zealand. Family service Thursday October 17 2019 7pm at the Atiu Nui Maruarua Hall, 7 Atiu Place, Favona. There will be no refreshments after the family service. Funeral service at the same place Friday October 18 2019 at 11am followed by burial at the Mangere Lawn Cemetery. We invite you all to her Homecoming Banquet at the Atiu Hall 2pm. TUORO, Rehutai. Beloved mother, mama, sister, aunty and friend Rehutai Etika Tuoro affectionately known as Mama Bunny Tuoro, passed peacefully on Friday October 11 2019 at Rarotonga Hospital. Funeral arrangements are Sunday October 13 2.30pm her body will be brought home from Rarotonga Hospital. 3.00pm prayer service at her home in Aroa, 6.00pm Family service conducted by Arorangi CICC Monday October 14 9-10am - final home prayer service 10am church service at Arorangi CICC thence to her final resting place in Akaoa.
