VAIPO, Ngatokorima Julian. Affectionately known to many as Rima or Rem, passed away suddenly on Tuesday morning August 13 2019 at Middlemore Hospital, Auckland, New Zealand. Loving on of the late Julian and Uaongo Vaipo. Funeral on Wednesday August 22 11am at the Mangere Cemetery Chapel. Rima's body is currently lying at the residence of his aunty and uncle Kereni and Tuua Vaipo in Clendon. Visitors are most welcome to visit. MARII, Tereroa. Beloved daughter, grandmother, mother, sister, aunty and friend Tereroa Miri Marii passed away peacefully on August 10 2019 in Auckland, New Zealand. Daughter of Papa Orometua Marii Tautu and the late Mama Orometua Maeu Marii. Her body is at 41 Comet Crescent, Mangere. Family service Monday August 19 at 6pm 17 Laureston Avenue, Papatoetoe. GIBBONS, Arnold. Cherished father. Passed away in Auckland, New Zealand. A loving husband to Tarai (now gone for 16 years). A well loved brother to his siblings. Lovingly called Papa by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Childhood friends knew him as Uncle Arnold. His funeral and church service will be at the Manukau Memorial Gardens on Tuesday August 13 at 12.30pm followed by a light supper at the reception room of the Memorial Gardens. Feel free to join us as we bid him farewell on his next journey. His body will be buried in the same plot as his beautiful wife in Area G, row K, plot 48.

TARUE, Teinakore. Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and brother Papa Teinakore Kimi Tarue otherwise known as 'Papa Punk' peacefully passed away surrounded by his wife Mama Nga Kimi Tarue and family at his residence in Mangere, Auckland, New Zealand. Sunrise March 15 1929 sunset Tuesday August 6 2019. Papa Teina's body will be at home for family and friends to pay their respects from Thursday midday onwards at his home at 32 Jordan Road, Mangere. The family asks that there be no visitors to the house until Thursday midday. Family service Sunday August 11 2019 at Church of the Nazerene, Mangere, 6pm. Light refreshments only. Funeral service Monday August 12 at Church of the Nazerene. Burial at Manukau Memorial Gardens. Tairea (Padre) WO2, 1 RNZIR, 40420, Victor 4 Company 4th Dan International Tae Kwon Do Instructor passed away at 13.20 hours on July 26 at Wellington Hospital, Wellington, New Zealand. He was the beloved son of the late Auru-Enua-o-Avaiki Tairea and Nioputa Metuangaro Tairea. Loved husband of Teremoana Tairea. Cherished brother of (d) Vaine (Big Man), Makatea (Maka),Tinokura (Ti), (d) John, Rourukeu (Vouvou), Rev. Maara, Tangatakerekere (Blackie), Metuavaine (Tua), Vaipunu (Wai), Ngatungane (Nane), Ngatokoa (Tokoa), Teuratemearii (Ben) and Ngatuaine. Adored father of Schofield (William), James and Lenior. Feeding father to Apiianga (Nane), Melissa and Cathy. Adored grandfather, great-grandfather, papa, brother-in-law, cousin, uncle, serviceman, teacher and friend. Padre's body will be lying in state at Maraeroa Marae, 216 Warspite Avenue, Waitangirua from Monday afternoon July 29 2019. Family service Wednesday July 31, Maraeroa Marae 6pm. MATAIO, Vainetutai. Beloved sister, mother, aunty and partner passed away at her residence in South Auckland, New Zealand in the early hours of Tuesday July 16. She was the daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Joe and Ariela Mataio, the granddaughter of the late Papa Mataio (Aitutaki) and Mama Pativai (Ruatonga) and the late Papa Ngatae Takapi and Mama Metuakore (Mangaia). Personal viewing and visiting time is strictly by appointment only to be made with prior to the family and funeral service. PAREANGA, Materua. Passed away at Middlemore Hospital, Auckland, New Zealand, aged 70, on Friday July 12 2019. He was the son of the late Teokotai and the late Maara Pareanga of Matavera, Rarotonga. A service to remember him will be held at St Therese Parish, 10 Wickman Way, Mangere East on Friday July 19 2019 at 1pm. Refreshments will be served after the service.
