KNOWLES, Russell James.

Dearly beloved father in Auckland, New Zealand Friday 16 July 16 2021 at 1900 hours. Sunrise April 30 1937, sunset July 16 2021 peacefully surrounded by his children. Formerly married to our Mum Akemata Makara and adored father to Makara, Lee, Cindy, Pearl, Douglas, Beryl and Michele. Russell was a father, granddad, great granddad, brother, uncle, friend and good mate to many. Russell was brother to Joyce (D), Beryl (D), Joan (D), Pat (D), Helen (D) and survived by brother Keith. A private cremation has been held. A memorial service will be held in Auckland, on Thursday July 22 at 11am at the Grey Lynn Returned Services Club, 1 Francis Street, Grey Lynn. BENNION, Joseph (Joe).

Passed away at his home on July 6 2021 in Tokoroa, New Zealand, surrounded by the loves of his life. Perfect and forever husband of Iwi. Kind, caring and amazing dad of Rachel, Joseph and Tuhimata. The best cuddliest papa of Alkana, Solina, Alay, Ioteva and Armani. Dearly loved and respected father-in-law of Kaileigh-Jane Cribb. Joe’s funeral service will be held at the St Luke's Pacific Islands Church, Cnr Kelso Street and Maraetai Road, Tokoroa, on Friday July 9 at 11am followed by burial at the Tokoroa Lawn Cemetery. Martha (Verotia) Bates, beloved wife of the late Teinakore-o-William Bates, daughter of the late Marcella and Turia Oteniela, mother, sister, Aunty and friend to many. Sunrise March 25 1936, Ssunset June 30 2021 in Auckland, New Zealand. Family service on Sunday July 4 2021, 5pm at the Otahuhu Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 17 Mason Avenue, Otahuhu. Funeral service at the same church on Monday July 5 2021 at 11am, followed by committal at the Manukau Memorial Gardens, 357 Puhinui Rd, Manukau. Her body will lie at the family Marae, 18 Sandbrook Avenue, Otara from Thursday July 1 2021 until 12 midday, Sunday July 4 2021. The Pirangi ad Pirake families announce the passing of our beloved mama Teuira-O-Te Rangi Taikakara (née Pirangi-Pirake), on Saturday June 26 2021 aged 92 at her home in Otahuhu, Auckland, New Zealand. She was the beloved wife of the late Mr Nemia (Menema) Taikakara, loved mother of Joybelle, George, Charlie, the late Gregory and Rauruina, a grand-mother, great-grandmother, mother-in-law, aunty, cousin and friend. Family service on Tuesday June 29 2021 at 6pm at the Otahuhu Church Hall, Kath Day Hall, 17 Mason Avenue, Otahuhu.
